I let CJ pick (and place) today's stone, as I have to go to work today. She picked a good one though, as today's quote kind of goes with something that happened to me last night.
See, I was on the computer -- looking for quotes -- When I got a message on my MSN from this guy that I used to be 'best friends' with (for like 10 years, until we tried to get together 'romantically'. -- Which didn't work and ended VERY badly...)
Anyways, After talking to said-friend about the whole situation, I came to realize that the whole incident was really a lot different then I had thought it was when it happened. I was so hurt and so upset by his actions, that I only saw my side of things.
I didn't see the big picture at all...
It's really weird how we do that, but I guess everyone is like that...Sometimes we only see the things that we want to see, rather then the way things really are. -- In my situation, when I finally opened my eyes and looked at it from more then just my standpoint, I was able to put this issue to rest once and for all. -- I feel so much better now!
